Judo

Here is Judo’s story, written by his new family:

“Two years ago, we adopted a pitbull from the League, and now we cannot imagine our lives without him! When we got him, Judo (then Cedar) was a sweet but skinny 47-pound sweetheart. He was clumsy and didn’t run well, climb or go down steps easily, or know any obedience commands. Now, he has filled out and gotten so athletic that he is an agile (but still a little clumsy!) 65-pound sweetheart. In addition, we’ve discovered that he is not only a sweetheart but absolutely loves to snuggle! He’s our wonderful little snuggle muffin. At our local canine club he has passed basic obedience, advanced basic obedience and subnovice obedience classes. We are now exploring agility with him with a potential for exploring flyball. While we knew he was going to be a wonderful dog, we couldn’t have imagined to what extent he would bring joy into our lives. He is so full of life, love, and enthusiasm for everything. Thank you so much for taking him into your facility (rescued from the Iowa floods!) and bringing him into our lives.

Thank you for your consideration and for all the work you do,

Laura and Matt (happy owners of Judo, aka Cedar, adopted July 2008) “
