Friendship Hospital for Animals 75th Anniversary Adopt-A-Thon

What better way to celebrate 75 years of Friendship than to adopt a cat or dog?  We’re hoping to find loving homes for 75 of them.  For this event only:

   
• Visit the cats and dogs in the League’s adoption truck, stationed outside Friendship from 8am to 8pm on Saturday, October 15, and Sunday, October 16
   
• Adopt a dog for just 75 percent of the League’s normal fees
   
• No adoption fees for cats
   
• FREE exam on the spot for your new pet

Ready to Adopt?  Here’s what you should know:

   
• Please bring a government issued ID and proof of address if your current address is not on your ID.
   
• Carriers will be available for purchase, but you may bring one if you like.
   
• Leashes, harnesses, and collars will be available for purchase, but you may bring them if you like.
   
• All adoption fees must be paid by cash or credit card.
   
• You don’t need to bring every family member but make sure to discuss having a new pet with everyone playing a role in his/her care.
   
• You will fill out an adoption application and meet with an adoption counselor to help ensure a good match.
   
• Be prepared to enjoy our activities while you wait to meet the animals that are available for adoption.  Adopters will be given a number and helped in the order that they arrive.
