Exhibit of John Lennon Drawings Benefits the League
Most of the world knows John Lennon as a Beatle, a songwriter, an activist, and a voice of a generation. What most of the world doesn’t know is that Lennon considered himself an artist and poet first and foremost. For the past 20 years, Yoko Ono Lennon and Legacy Productions have been bringing Lennon’s artwork to people throughout the United States.
From May 7-9, nearly 100 of Lennon’s drawings and writings will be on display at 3307 M Street, NW. Donations at the door benefit the League’s animals.
Times are:
Friday, May 7: 12 Noon - 8 p.m.
Saturday, May 8: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday, May 9: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
