Caring Kids Camp
Caring Kids Camp: A fun-filled week for Caring Kid Campers who love art and animals!
July 6-9, 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
-Children ages 8-12
-BYOBag lunch
-$50 per day; $180 for the week
-Tour the League- meet cats and dogs looking for homes!
Day 1: It’s Show Time! Craft a cat or dog shadow puppet
Day 2: Calling All Cartoonists Create a cartoon character based on shelter animal models
Day 3: Keepsake Box Use pictures of animals to decorate a box where memories and dreams are stored
Day 4: Celebrate Independence Day for Animals! Design and paint a mural. Make hand-painted bandanas for adoptable animals
Camp projects reflect love of animals and love of earth; we will recycle materials, use our imaginations, and create animal-friendly art to impress, inspire, intrigue and encourage responsible animal care for life!
