Bark & Bubbles
The League and WagTime Pet Spa & Boutique are partnering to create a fun summer event for you and your pet(s). The bubble-filled afternoon will include doggie treats, ice cream, pet caricatures,and sushi and bubbly drinks for all two-legged guests. WagTime is offering a special 20% discount on select merchandise during the event. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Space is limited; please order yours early!

Mutts Strut 2008
On Sunday, June 1st, 600 people and 200 dogs covered the American University quad for the fourth annual Mutts Strut. The event netted over $50,000 for the League, setting new records for both individual and team fund-raising efforts.

Free Parvo Vaccinations!
To help stop the spread of a terrible canine disease, the League is offering two special vaccination clinics, March 30 and April 27, from 5 - 7 pm. Canine distemper/parvo (DAPP) vaccinations are free. Rabies and bordatella are $10. No appointments necessary.

Dog adopters are eligible to attend a free basic dog care and training class taught by the League’s certified trainers. Both cat and dog adoption fees are discounted for the day. Free peanut butter and jelly sandwich and juice lunch for all human attendees.
