Rescuers Take Part in Hurricane Effort

We are fortunate to have so many dedicated and generous friends who provide us with their time, their talents and their contributions. One way you can help is by becoming a Rescuer with your gift of $500 or more.

Rescuers generously respond to special appeals, such as the one we sent out in early September, just after Hurricane Katrina and the massive flooding in New Orleans. Their quick response helped the League to save over 1,800 animals through medical and rescue work in the Gulf region, while still maintaining all of our Washington area programs without interruption.
