• Development Officer

  The League seeks fundraiser to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward foundation and corporate donors for major gifts to support current operations and our capital campaign.  Goal is to obtain large gifts of five figures and above.  Efforts will include proposal writing, prospect research, and significant time out of the office on donor visits.  Reports to Chief Development Officer.

• Veterinary Technician

  The Washington Animal Rescue League is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician, who is comfortable with anesthesia, surgery protocols and euthanasia.  They should have knowledge of basic canine and feline medicine, including vaccines, viruses, parasites and animal restraint.  The ability to draw blood and place catheters, read fecal floats and take x-rays are important skills that the candidate should posses.
