Director of Development
The Washington Animal Rescue League is searching for a Director of Development, who will be responsible for successfully implementing and executing the organizational fundraising plan and spearheading the donor relations program, including the management of all donor issues, requests, and concerns. This includes but is not limited to management of all monetary and in-kind donations to the organization.

Rescue, Rehab, Rehome Internship Program
Participation in the Rescue, Rehab, Rehome Internship program with the Washington Animal Rescue League is a unique and exciting way for college students to gain invaluable, hands-on experience in animal welfare. There are a variety of opportunities available for individuals who wish to gain valuable hands-on experience in the fields of companion animal sheltering, community relations, rehabilitation, adoptions, fundraising, humane education, administration and veterinary medicine.

Veterinary Technician Assistant
The Washington Animal Rescue League is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant, who is comfortable with anesthesia, surgery protocols and euthanasia. They should have knowledge of basic canine and feline medicine, including vaccines, viruses, parasites, and animal restraint. Ability to draw blood and place catheters, read fecal floats, and take x-rays are important skills the candidate should possess.
